WORLD INTER-SCHOOL SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2027

Schools from around the world are invited to participate and represent their country, school and community in a friendly and competitive international environment.
The championships aim to bring together young swimmers from five continents:
- Africa
- Asia
- Americas
- Oceania
- Europe
🏊 Age Categories
The competition is open to boys and girls in the following age groups:
U8 • U10 • U12 • U14 • U16
Students aged approximately 6 to 15 years are welcome to participate according to the applicable age-category regulations.
🏅 Swimming Events
Competitions will be conducted in:
- Freestyle
- Backstroke
- Breaststroke
- Butterfly
Events include 50 Metres, 100 Metres and 200 Metres and 4 x 50 Mts Relay, according to the applicable age category.

INSURANCE & MEDICAL
All participating schools and parents are responsible for ensuring that each child has adequate medical insurance and appropriate health coverage for the duration of the event. The school or parent/guardian must also ensure that the child is medically fit to participate in the Championships and is covered for any medical expenses arising from illness, injury, accident, or emergency during travel, participation, or stay. The Organising Committee will provide basic first-aid and emergency medical assistance at the venue; however, all insurance, medical, hospitalisation, and related expenses shall be the responsibility of the participating school or the parent/guardian.
CERTIFICATES, MEDALS & TROPHIES:
Recognising participation, achievement and excellence, the WMS Swimming Awards honour all participants with Participation Certificates, while Winners and Medalists receive Medals and Merit Certificates. The outstanding school will be presented with the prestigious Team Championship Trophy.
CHAMPIONSHIP TIMINGS:
CHAMPIONSHIP TIMINGS: All swimming events and championship activities will be conducted between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
