Organizations, cycling clubs, cycle businesses, and sports promoters interested in developing endurance cycling in their City are invited to apply to become a Registered City Affiliate of the World Masters Sports Federation under the WMS World Cycling program. Approved affiliates will be authorized to organize official endurance rides such as the WMS-100 Cycling Event, WMS-150 Cycling Event, and WMS-200 Cycling Event in their respective cities and help promote long-distance cycling within their local community.

A WMS Affiliate is an officially registered, recognized city partner authorized by the World Masters Sports Federation to organize and conduct WMS endurance cycling events. These affiliates manage local events such as the WMS-100 Cycling Event, WMS-150 Cycling Event, and WMS-200 Cycling Event and promote endurance cycling within their community.
A WMS Affiliate is registered through a formal Affiliate Agreement signed between the affiliate organization and the National Governing Body or the World Masters Sports Federation for a period of three years which authorizes them to plan, register, and conduct WMS rides such as WMS 100 Miles, WMS 150 Miles, WMS 200 Miles. A service charge of USD 55 is payable to the Affiliation Coordinator for processing and coordinating the WMS Affiliate Agreement Signing / registration.
The City WMS Affiliates / Event Organisers are responsible for designing the route, fixing control points, managing rider registrations, ensuring safety guidelines, verifying rider completion through timing Technologies or digital tracking, and submitting ride results to the National Governing Body. The organizing affiliate may appoint an Event Organizer who acts as the official liaison with WMSF, ensuring that the event follows international WMS standards and time limits.
The WMS City Affiliate authorized by the World Masters Sports Federation must obtain the required prior permissions and clearances from the City Mayor’s Office and the local Police Department before conducting any WMS endurance cycling events. These approvals are necessary to ensure proper route management, rider safety, traffic coordination, and compliance with local civic regulations for events such as the WMS-100 Cycling Event, WMS-150 Cycling Event, and WMS-200 Cycling Event.
The WMS Affiliate authorized by the World Masters Sports Federation must ensure that all endurance rides follow the strict time cut-off structure prescribed for events such as the WMS-100 Cycling Event, WMS-150 Cycling Event, and WMS-200 Cycling Event. Upon successful completion and verification of the ride within the prescribed time limits, the affiliate is responsible for issuing the official WMS Cycling Awards to the eligible participants.
The WMS Affiliate must procure the official WMS Cycling Awards exclusively from the World Masters Sports Federation at least 30 days prior to the event date by placing a formal order with WMSF. All WMS Awards are created, manufactured, and supplied only by WMSF, and no other individual, organization, or affiliate is authorized to produce or distribute these awards for events such as the WMS-100 Cycling Event, WMS-150 Cycling Event, or WMS-200 Cycling Event.
