Also called as the WMS-100 HUA HIN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2027, The WMS‑100 World Cycling Championships is a prestigious international endurance cycling event featuring a unique 100 Miles – 100 Cyclists championship format, conducted annually in the beautiful coastal city of Hua Hin, Thailand.
The event brings together elite cyclists, masters athletes, and endurance riders from around the world to compete in a challenging 100-mile road race that tests stamina, strategy, and competitive spirit.
Participation in the WMS-100 World Cycling Championships to be held in Hua Hin, Thailand is based on a merit-based qualification system designed to recognize endurance cyclists and consistent road racing performers. Cyclists may qualify by securing any one of the recognized endurance achievement distinctions such as the Duke–Dutchess Awards, Prince–Princess Awards, or the King–Queen Awards during the previous year, demonstrating their ability to complete long-distance cycling challenges. Athletes may also qualify based on their road cycling race performance during the past two years, including participation and results in recognized road cycling competitions. All applicants must submit valid performance certificates or documentary proof of their achievements and race results for verification by the World Masters Sports Federation Cycling Committee before confirmation of entry into the championship.
Organized by the World Masters Sports Federation through its Cycling Committee, the championship promotes global sporting excellence, international friendship, and active participation in lifelong sports. Set against the scenic landscapes of Hua Hin, the WMS-100 World Cycling Championships has grown into a signature global cycling event that celebrates endurance cycling while also promoting sports tourism and cultural exchange among participating nations.
Cyclists interested in participating in the WMS-100 World Cycling Championships to be held in Hua Hin, Thailand in 2027 may apply for registration through the World Masters Sports Federation.
Eligible riders must submit their application along with proof of qualification, performance certificates. Upon verification of the eligibility criteria, the WMSF Cycling Committee will issue confirmation of participation for the championship event after which you can pay the stipulated entry fees taht covers Entry to event, 2 nights accommodation, breakfast and dinner.
Participants who are not already members of the World Masters Sports Federation must apply for WMSF Life Membership after being selected to participate in championship events such as the WMS-100 World Cycling Championships. Once the selection is confirmed, the participant is required to complete the Life Membership registration by paying the prescribed fee in order to be eligible to compete in the international event.
